Join us for an evening of mystery, romance and drama as Drama with Friends performs four plays by Seth Freeman. Seth writes for the stage, print, film and television, for which he created the series Lincoln Heights. His work has received multiple Emmys, Golden Globes, Writers Guild, Peabody, P.E.N., First Amendment and other awards, including the Valentine Davies Award given to a writer “whose contributions to the entertainment industry and the community-at-large have brought dignity and honor to writers everywhere.” There have been over two hundred thirty-five productions and readings of his short plays in the U.S. and around the world, and he greatly appreciates having his work performed by Drama with Friends.

Doors open at 6:50 with the performance starting at 7 pm. Following the performance there will be a Q&A with the playwright, actors and director.

Drawing The Line

A surgeon confronts a beloved mentor about his current work and discovers that sometimes the unkindest cut isn’t made with a scalpel.

The Tea Test

When two friends meet for a casual cup of tea, could the way the tea is prepared be the subject of debate, could it threaten a long, treasured relationship and even become a question of life and death? Not that it matters, but the historical events referenced in this piece are true.

The High Road

Good intentions pave the road on this zany journey of highway grumpiness as a couple’s relationship veers crazily off and on course.

Canine Connection

A tense kerfuffle threatens to derail the amiable conversation on a call-in radio show in which three intelligent canines who don’t always share the same views discuss and debate relevant issues of the day. Dog viewers welcome.
