    Hello all,

I am on the Creative Producing Team for the Macy’s Parade and I am SPECIFICALLY looking for NYC-based, or folks that would like to be considered as a “local hire” (as there is no travel or lodging provided) from UNDERREPRESENTED BACKGROUNDS to perform character, puppeteer and stilt walking roles in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Specifically, I am always looking to intentionally cast in regards to race, body, gender identity, ability and “type” inclusivity.

The roles are as simple a showing up Thanksgiving morning, putting on a costume and riding a float and waving and as advanced as rehearsal, fittings, etc.

Please PM me your email if you or someone you know may be interested in bringing smiles to thousands of young people this November. If you have reached out previously, no need to do so again: we are currently sifting through all our of interest and submissions.

If you are a previous or current theme park performer, cruise ship performer, TYA performer, or the like – I’d love to hear from you. Roles are paid a flat gig rate depending on the role. Housing, lodging and benefits are not offered.
