    A Monster Calls

    Audition Dates:
    Friday, December 1 from 3pm – 5:30pm
    Saturday, December 2 from 1pm to 4pm
    Audition Location: 3rd Floor Lounge of the Pless Building at 82 Washington Square East

    Auditions will be held in groups of 6 or less, and will consist of reading sides from the script.     Callback Workshop Date: Saturday, December 9 from 12pm – 4pm
    Call Back Location: Provincetown Playhouse at 133 MacDougal Street

    For callbacks, please be prepared to physically move and collaborate/devise with others

    About the Show: Conor has the same dream every night, ever since his mother first fell ill. But tonight is different. Tonight, when he wakes, there’s a monster at his window. It’s elemental, a force of nature, and it wants something from Conor. It wants the truth. This stage version is based on the bestselling classic novel and will include scripted dialogue along with extensive physical theatre sections to be devised by the cast.

    Needed: 11-12 performers of all genders

    Rehearsal Dates: Beginning January 27- March 3 (potentially earlier depending on cast availability).

    Schedule: Rehearsals will take place weekday evenings and weekend days from a few days before the spring semester starts in January to early March. Actors can anticipate being called for 4-5 rehearsals per week during the rehearsal period and 5-6 days per week during tech and dress rehearsals.

    Production dates:
    Friday, February 23 at 8PM
    Saturday, February 24 at 8PM
    Sunday, February 25 at 3PM
    Monday, February 26 at 10AM (invited schools matinee)
    Thursday, February 29 at 8PM
    Friday, March 1 at 10AM (invited schools matinee)
    Friday, March 1 at 8PM
    Saturday, March 2 at 8PM
    Sunday, March 3 at 3PM
